சின்னச்சின்ன காமெடி ரோல்களில் தலைகாட்டி, இன்று தமிழ் திரையுலகின் முன்னணி காமெடி நடிகராக திகழ்ந்து வரும் வடிவேலுவின் மகன் சுப்பிரமணி சினிமாவில் ஹீரோ ஆகப்போகிறார். 23 வயதாகும் மகனுக்காக, வடிவேலு பல டைரக்டர்களிடம் கதை கேட்டு வருகிறார். இதுபற்றி வடிவேலு அளித்துள்ள பேட்டியில், என் மகன் சுப்பிரமணிக்கு நடிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற ஆர்வம் இருக்கிறது. அவனுக்கு பொருந்துகிற மாதிரி கதையை தேடி வருகிறேன். இதுவரை 3 கதை கேட்டிருக்கிறேன். அதில் ஒன்று சுப்பிரமணிக்கு பொருத்தமானதாக இருக்கிறது. என்னைப்போல என மகன் காமெடி நடிகராக மட்டுமல்லாமல்... நடிப்பு, நகைச்சுவை, காதல், அடிதடி ஆகிய எல்லா அம்சங்களும் கலந்த ஒரு பாத்திரத்தில் சுப்பிரமணி அறிமுகம் ஆவான், என்று கூறியிருக்கிறார்.

மேலும் வடிவேலு கூறுகையில், என் மகனை தமிழ் மக்களிடம் ஒப்படைக்கிறேன். என் பிள்ளையை அவர்கள் பார்த்துக் கொள்வார்கள். நான் இப்போது பிஸியாக முன்னால் ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். அவன் என் பின்னால் ஓடி வந்து என்னை துரத்திப் பிடிக்கட்டும். என் மார்க்கெட் நன்றாக இருக்கும்போதே சுப்பிரமணியை தமிழ் மக்கள் வசம் ஒப்படைப்பதில் பெருமைப்படுகிறேன், என்றார்.

Vadivelu is the famous and top comedy actor in Tamil film industry. His son Subramani is aged 23 years. He who had completed his Plus 2 is now currently studying computer and animation course.
Many directors are planning to cast him as a hero in a film. But Vadivelu did not permit this. He was telling that his son can act at the appropriate time. Now Vadivelu has mentioned that the time has come and has decided to introduce his son as a hero. Vadivelu is currently listening to stories from various directors to make his son as a hero. So he is waiting for a good story.

Vadivelu while speaking to the media about this said,” My son Subramani has an interest to act in films. I am in search of a story which would be suitable for him. I am listening to stories from three directors. I think that one of these stories would be suitable for him.

Instead of being a comedian like me, he will be introduced as a hero in a film which has acting, comedy, romance and action. I am handing over my son to the people of Tamil Nadu. They will take care of him.

Now I am busy running forward. Let him chase me and catch me. I am really proud that I am handing over my son to the people of Tamil Nadu when my market is good.”
