The most common verdicts posted on such films would be either ‘Spine-tingling’ or ‘Mind-shuddering’ ones. But, filmmaker Naga insists that his upcoming film ‘Anandhapurathu Veedu’ will be an unusual genre. According to the sources, this movie will be a horror-comedy that revolves around the mystery hidden inside a big bungalow closed for past 23 years. When a married couple along with their kid arrives at that place, inscrutable things starts haunting them and how they overcome it unraveling the mystery forms crux of story.

It is said to be the ghosts of the protagonist’s parents getting in touch with their grandchild and certain ambiguities involved in it.

The film is produced by Shankar under the banner of S Pictures and is directed by Naga, who earlier shot to fame for his transfixing mystery-thriller series in satellite channels. The film’s shooting is almost completed and is ready to hit screens by July.

Nanda and Chaaya Singh have performed lead roles.
