Shanthnu Bhagyaraj's awaited film 'Siddu' which was announced to release on November 26 has been now postponed to Pongal.
The decision to push the film to January is said to be because the creative team later felt that it doesn't make sense to rush the release of a good film without proper publicity and theatres. All the people who have seen the film have said that the film will sway the family audience with its neat content.
MoserBaer and KBR Media may now release the film through leading exhibitor Abirami Ramanathan who watched the film at a special screening and said the film will be the one to watch with the whole family.
Siddu is a K Bhagyaraj kind of romance written and directed by him. Newcomer Chandini Tamilarasan plays the lady love. Shanthanu who showed a lot of promise with his first film 'Chakkarakatti' had to wait for two years to see his second release.
