But it was not revealed that the director has revived the project that dropped with Vikram. Much before the release of 'Raavanan', Boopathy Pandian impressed Vikram with a commercial movie, which was supposed to feature him in the role of a brainy cop. Due to some creative difference of opinions, the film was dropped and now it will be done with Vishal.

The film titled as 'Pattathu Yaanai' will be produced by his home banner of GK Films Corporation and will be dubbed in Telugu as well. The other film with Prabhu Deva will also delineate him in the role of a cop. Vishal's yesteryear film 'Sathyam' had him playing the same role and turned to be a flop show. This time, Vishal is sure-footed of not letting the black history to repeat.

The actor has banked all his hopes on 'Avan Ivan' and admits that it will be an unusual film and much different from Bala's previous movies.
