South Indian actress Asin is making her foundation strong in Kollywood again. She is joining none other than our Super star Rajinikanth for his next.

Asin will be seen as a second heroine opposite Rajini in one of the role. The film makers have earlier approached Trisha Krishnan, Anushka Shetty and Asin for the lead role as Deepika Padukone was unable to adjust her call sheets. But later to this Deepika has fine-tuned her dates for being part of this prestigious project. Both the actresses are basically from South and have excelled in Bollywood with their tremendous performance.

By casting the beautiful divas in Rana it would be a great advantage for the film makers as they are planning to make the film in Tamil Telugu and Hindi. Director KS Ravikumar is directing this periodic film and Rajini will be seen in triple roles. Sonu Sood is playing the role of antagonist. Soundarya’s Ocher Studios Pvt Ltd and Eros International are jointly producing the film. Music is by AR Rahman while Ratnavelu is working as a cinematographer for the film. The film will roll the camera from the month of March.
