Anushka Shetty is celebrating her birthday today. The actress is turning 30 today! She was born as Sweety Shetty in a Bunt family at Mangalore.
She did her schooling and college in Bangalore and became a Yoga instructor after getting trained under renowned Yoga guru Bharath Takur.

The actress was introduced to films by Nagarjuna in the film ‘Super’ directed by Puri Jagannath in the year 2005. She went on to act in the films of big actors and directors in Telugu and became an unshaken star with the big success of the film ‘Arundhathi’. She also did an appearance in A R Muragadoss directed and Chiranjeevi starring Telugu hit film ‘Stalin’, a remake of Tamil hit Vijayakanth’s ‘Ramana’. She debuted in Tamil with Sundar C directed and Madhavan starring ‘Rendu’. The actress became popular in Tamil also with her films Vijay’s ‘Vettaikaaran’ and Suriya’s ‘Singam’. Her ‘Vaanam’ with Simbhu and ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ with Vikram shot her to big fame in Tamil and now the actress is one of the most sought after actresses in Tamil. Currently she is acting in films with many big heroes and directors in Tamil and Telugu.
