Vimal's thanks to Koothu-p-pattarai

Vimal is one of the highly talented young heroes who are slowly and steadily raising the success ladder to join the big league of top young heroes of Tamil cinema.


The actor has just delivered the acclaimed ‘Vaagai Sooda Vaa’ with director Sargunam. The actor not just got his commercial success he was also highly appreciated for his neat performance as a village teacher in the period film. Vimal’s earlier films ‘Kalavaani’ and director Pandiraj’s ‘Pasanga’, through which he debuted films, also saw a good performer in him. “It is all because of my training and experience with Koothu-p-pattarai that is helping me in choosing scripts and roles. My stage acts have shaped me as a good performer, thanks to Koothu-p-pattarai again! I attribute all my success to Koothu-p-pattarai,” says the actor.

Vimal is currently acting in Prem Nishar directed ‘Ishtam’ that he pairs with Nisha Agarwal, sister of Kajal Agarwal. The actor is also playing the hero in Sundar C’s next directorial venture ‘Masala Café’ joining Anjali in the lead, and another yet-to-be-titled film by directed by Ravi starring Deepa Shah.
