FEFSI's independent decision to hike the pay-packet of its members has irked the Producers' Council.
Speaking about the FEFSI's new pay revision, the Producers' Council Chairman SA Chandrasekar said that it is the norm to revise the pay every three years after consulting the Council.


But this time around, the FEFSI has revised the pay without consulting the Council. Irked by this, the Producers' Council has decided to thwart ties with the FEFSI. This has created a situation wherein several films' progress may be hindered.
