Karthi and Santhanam as a pair brings the house down. They discovered they can make the audiences guffaw in their seats with Siruthai and since then they have struck together.

The comedy kings will be appearing together in the next three movies of Karthi- Saguni, Alex Pandian and an untitled film to be directed by Rajesh.

In the political mass masala Saguni directed by Shankar Dayal which has Karthi and Pranitha in the lead roles, Santhanam is playing an equally important role.

In the film Karthi is Kamal who comes from a village to Chennai city and meets an autorikshaw driver called Rajini played by Santhanam! Their combo is said to be hilarious and one of the highlights of Saguni.
