Namitha may be all fire and ice, but she is missing from Kollywood radar. Recently director Shakti Chidambaram who has done few films with her is making a film titled Machan.

The word is supposed to be a favourite one of the actress Namitha who uses it all the time to refer lovingly to her fans. So much so, the word has come to be associated strongly with Namitha in recent times.

Now, Chidambaram too has cast her in many of his films, so it remains to be seen if he would use this opportunity and the film's catchy title to rope in the vivacious heroine for the film.
