Actor-director-producer Sasikumar is been roped in for a new Tamil film titled 'Kuttipuli'!

The film is directed by debutant Muthiah, who has worked with directors T P Gajendran and Boopathy Pandian and the film is produced by S Muruganandam, who produced last year hit 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa', under his banner Village theatres.

Sasikumar plays the protagonist in the film and the other cast and crew are being decided now. Gibran, who scored music for 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa', is doing music and Mahesh Muthusamy is handling the camera. Vairamuthu is penning the lyrics.

The film will depict the qualities and greatness of womanhood and will be a family-drama with included with all the elements of an entertaining cinema. The film crew will go for shoot from this June.
