A R Rahman Sets Own Studio in Mumbai

A R Rahman has set up his own studio at a flat that he purchased in a high rise building in Mumbai.

The Oscar winner bought two adjacent flats in a big apartment building located near Chandivali Studios some time ago. The two adjacent flats are now joined together to convert it to a recording studio and a small stay place for him and his family.

Sources close to the music genius say that he purchased the flats way long back and just recently converted it to a studio that was never disclosed by the composer.

Rahman has such small studios in many places around the world that enable him to work uninterruptedly in his own way.

'Isai Puyal' is now working for two much touted films of two legendaries, Rajinikanth and Mani Ratnam. The music director was in London with Rajini recording songs for superstars 'Kochadaiyaan'. Earlier, Rahman was with Mani Ratnam in India, in the southern coastal areas of Tamil Nadu for the film 'Kadal'.
