Sneha is all excited about her D-day. Pausing to catch her breath in the middle of frantic wedding preparations, she says, "Ten more days to go for D-day.
I need more than ten days to prepare for my wedding. We are going to have lots of ceremonies and I have bought sarees in almost all colours.


I am going in for only traditional colours, rather than the funky ones. We have planned for two styles of weddings with two muhurthams on the same day.

I will be wearing the nine yards for my muhurtham. So D-day will be hectic — I'll be changing sarees several times for all the different rituals.

I like to wear different dresses and I am going to enjoy the fun at my wedding. I have purchased sarees from Bengaluru, but the muhurtham sarees are from Kanchipuram.

I am yet to decide on the saree colour for the muhurtham. My sister designs all my blouses. I am wearing a beautiful ghagra for the reception."

Sneha has been spotted wearing Sabyasachi salwar-kameezs. Asked if she has roped in any big names, she says, "I had very little time and so was not able to manage to get an exclusive Sabyasachi design."

On the pre-wedding ceremonies, she says, "I am hosting a sangeet and mehendi ceremony at my home.

I have invited my friends from the industry. We have planned for a sumangali pooja as well. Pre-wedding ceremonies begin from May 7.

I have already thrown a bash — a party at my house — for some of my dear friends. I am looking forward to the lovely four-day wedding.

I am going the traditional way with respect to all the functions." Butterflies in the stomach? "Yes," she smiles. "I am really excited. Prasanna is a man I am very comfortable with and I am thrilled to join hands with him in a grand affair."
