In a surprising turn of events, Trisha seems to have emerged the clear winner.

She is to team up with Jayam Ravi in Bhoologam to be directed by Kalyan Krishna, for which Nayanthara was touted as the lead lady.

Trisha has been ruling the roost for the past decade. But Nayan, whose entry was much later, catapulted to dizzy th her sheer glamour and bikini act and managed to reach the top.

It may be recalled that on an earlier occasion, Trisha replaced Nayan in the Vijay-starrer Kuruvi — even after the latter had taken an advance. Later, it was rumoured that Nayan grabbed a Telugu film with Nagarjuna after Trisha was signed on.

More recently, a cold war was triggered off between the two once again when Nayan was signed by a popular saree store for one of their new brands, though Trisha was already their brand ambassador.

About Bhoologam, sources say that the production house Aascar Films opted for Trisha after Nayan demanded an astronomical sum, and on top of it, placed several conditions before signing on.

Insiders reveal that the production house was ready to sign her for a huge pay packet, but what irked them were the numerous conditions.

She had said that she would not wear revealing clothes and neither would she enact intimate scenes.
The buzz is that there were also some issues regarding the number of assistants she would bring with her.

Finally, the producer had no choice but to opt for another lead actress and apparently, Trisha fitted the bill. Trisha's close sources disclosed that talks were on with her!

After Something Something…Unakkum Enakkum, this will be the second time that Trisha will be sizzling alongside of Jayam Ravi.
