This is the hot rumour that's making the rounds in tinsel town! It seems that VJ-turned-actor Sivakarthikeyan is demanding huge money as his remuneration, post the success of his solo-hero film Manamkotthi Paravai.


The actor initially appeared in character roles in Marina and 3, till ace filmmaker Ezhil made him the lead protagonist in his rom-com Manamkotthi… Though just three films old, we hear that his fans have started a fan club in Karaikkal after MKP happened.

Talking to DC, Siva rubbishes the rumour about him quoting big sums as his salary. "There's not an iota of truth in it! I only take what the producers offer, which I think I deserve. I am just a beginner. I don't want to mess with my career, which is just looking up now."

As for the fan club, he says, "Yes, I also heard about it! My native place is near Karaikkal and I was told that the film is running to packed houses there.

The film was extensively shot in Karaikkal as well." His future films include a movie with Pandiraj, and a film titled Edhir Neechal in Dhanush's home banner.
