Jaya TV is on a spree to procure the satellite rights of some of the most expected films of the year.
Just a few days ago, it was officially announced that this private satellite channel had bagged the rights of the Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiyaan, which is being directed by debut director Soundarya Rajinikanth.
And now, it has been confirmed that Suriya starrer Matraan, directed by KV Anand, has also been lapped up by this television house major for a huge price.
Sources say that Jaya TV officials are in talks with the makers of Thuppaki now and a deal will be concluded in a few days’ time. Thuppaki is directed by AR Murugadoss and stars Vijay in the lead role.
