The super hit yester year hero Mohan had acted in numerous Tamil films which were super duper hits. Some of his hit films are Payanangal Mudivathillai, Mella Thirandhathu Kadhavu, Vidhi and 24 Mani Neram.


In most of his films, he has donned the role of a stage singer and because of this he was fondly called as ‘Mike’ Mohan by his fans. After Uruvam, he was avoiding films. Later on he was approached by TV Channels to act in the TV serials. Mohan sent them by saying that his place is big screen and not small screen.

He also got the opportunity to share the screen with other actors but he has also turned down these offers by saying that he will don only lead roles. After a long hiatus, he directed and acted in a film titled Anbulla Kadhalukku. This film did not do good business at the box office as expected. His next film Suttapazham has also burnt his pocket.

Now Mohan has agreed to act in a film. He will be donning the role of a villain in this film which is to be directed by a person who was an assistant director to S K Suryah.The film is yet to be titled. The other cast and crew is being finalized.
