Radio City Super Singer Grand Finale
FM Na Radio City’s singing talent hunt, ‘Radio City Super Singer’ pulled curtains with a grand finale recently, in Chennai. With 5 talented singers battling it out for the title of ‘Radio City Super Singer’, the finale turned out to be a thriller.
It concluded with a ‘Singathon’ where more than 30 singers came together to perform on ‘Yathe Yathe’ & ‘Otha Sollale’ from the movie ‘Aadukalam’.

The auditions brought out best of talent in each city which was then short listed by the music maestros at Radio City 91.1 FM. The short listed contestants in Chennai were Ms. Aruna, Ms. Janani, Mr. Mugundan, Ms. Madhu & Ms. Kaavya. These contestants were then trained for a week by playback singer Mr. Krishna Iyer.

In Chennai, music director G.V. Prakash, popular playback singers Haricharan and Ramya NSK were the judges for ‘Radio City Super Singer’ finals. The final five short listed contestants performed live for the audiences and mesmerized all those present. The talent display was phenomenal with at the crowd cheering on enthusiastically.

The colourful evening took on brighter hues as Madhu was finally declared the winner of ‘Radio City Super Singer’. The winner was felicited with a prize of Rs 1 lakh and a TVS Wego. Apart from this, Madhu also gets a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with renowned music director G V Prakash!
