The handsome actor and heartthrob of many in South India, Suriya has successfully completed 15 years in the Tamil Film Industry.
Suriya, who was born on 23rd July 1975, has stepped into Kollywood cinemas through Nerrukku Ner in 1997 at the age of 22. Nerrukku Ner was released on Sep 6th celebrating is 15th anniversary today.

It is dream for many artists to share screen space with Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Suriya has bagged the chance with his first movie itself. Today our matinee idol Suriya is celebrating his 15th anniversary in K-town with a great run of 32 films in his career some as lead actor while other as cameos.

Starting his career with Nerrukku Ner, Suriya has come a long way and worked with almost all the top-listed directors such as, Gautham Menon, Vasanth, AR Murugadoss, KV Anand, national award winner Bala, Hari et al. After reaching dizzy heights now Suriya is gearing up to screen his long waited Maatran with Kajal Agarwal and has to start shooting for Singam 2 with Hansika and Anushka along with Gautham Menon’s directorial Thuppariyum Anandan.
