Dileepan, one of the five leads in the film Sinthanai Sei, passed away yesterday. He starred as Prassana’s friend in the film Azhagiya Theeye and most recently played the lead role in Sembattai.
The actor, who was just 32, had been suffering from a serious illness for quite sometime. When taken to a hospital in Madurai on emergency, he did not respond to the treatment and breathed his last. A native of Pudukottai, his body has been taken to his village for performing the last rites.
Dileepan became a student of Koothu Pattarai, after coming to Chennai with film aspirations.
