Simbu starring Podaa Podi, the launch film of Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is certified with a clean U and the movie is all set to hit the screens on Nov 13^th along with Vijay's Thuppakki.

Debutant Vignesh Sivan has wielded the megaphone for this romantic musical entertainer and the new director is all happy for clearing the censors with U certificate and no cuts on November 9^th. Sources close to Podaa Podi team said, "Censor board members are extremely pleased with the film. They even congratulated Vignesh Shivaa for directing a clean entertainer and showcasing STR as a good boy with no bad habits."

Podaa Podi is all set to give strong combat to Thuppakki at the box-office with its feel-good factor and peppy songs and the film is sure a youthful and family entertainer for this Diwali. Theatres across Tamil Nadu are expected to start the advance bookings for Podaa Podi, as the movie has cleared censors and ready for the release during festive season.
