Producer drags Tamannah to court

Gorgeous Tamannah Bhatia has been alleged for breaking a Bollywood contract and the issue is now in court.
Producer Salim Akhtar has filed a case in the Kolkata High Court against Tamannah, for dishonouring a contract she signed with him in 2003.

Tamannah Bhatia, who started her acting career with the Hindi film Chand Sa Roshan Chehra, had signed a contract with producer Salim Akhtar. According to the deal, she was supposed to pay 25% of her remuneration for the next five years to the producer. But the glamorous actress never honoured the contract.

“She was my daughter’s friend. At the time of roping her in for the film, she signed a contract that she would shell out 25 per cent of her earnings for five years to the producer. But she failed to honour it,” said Akhtar.

The issue is now in the Kolkata High Court. However, Tamannah Bhatia’s father has said that his daughter did not sign the contract and she was minor at the time of her first film.
