The actress attained more fame through Telugu blockbusters such as Pokiri, Jalsa, Kick and Julayi. These blockbusters made Ileana the top heroine of South Cinema.
After the top heroine status in South, she caught the attention of Bollywood and was cast in a pivotal role in Hindi film Barfi. However, the actress is not interested in sparing few hours for the pre-release promotional activities of Telugu films despite charging high remuneration. Moreover, she was seen more interested in promoting her maiden Hindi film Barfi. Hence, Tollywood producers and directors decided to avoid casting Ileana.
Few film makers directly criticized Ileana for her irresponsible behavior over Telugu films. She didn’t even attend any promotional activities related to Jr NTR’s Shakti, Ravi Teja’s Devudu Chesina Manushulu and Allu Arjun’s Julayi. Now the film makers decided an unofficial ban on Ileana in Tollywood.
Currently, the actress has no Telugu film on hand.
