Vishwaroopam is a high budgeted film being produced in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. Apart from donning the lead role, Kamal Haasan is the co-producer of this film. He has also written the story, screenplay, dialogues and has directed this film.

Major portions of this film have been shot in Canada and America. Some of the sequences have been shot in Chennai and Mumbai. For the first time in the Indian history of cinema, the ultra modern Aura 3D sound technology has been used in Viswaroobam.

Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy have composed the music for the lyrics penned by Vairamuthu for the Tamil version. Javed Akhtar has penned the lyrics for the Hindi version. It was announced that the audio launch of Viswaroobam will take place on 7th November which happens to be Kamal Haasan’s 58th birthday. Kamal Haasan had also planned to release the audio CD in Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore on the same day. It was also decided to release the film on 14th December.

At this point of time, it has been announced that the audio launch of Viswaroobam which was supposed to take place on 7th November stands cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances. It has also been announced that the audio launch will take place soon.
