Looks like singer Krish has had a double promotion of sorts in his life. He and his wife, actress Sangeetha recently had a baby girl.

Playback singer Krish, who has given many hit songs starting from ‘Manjal Veyyil’ to ‘Padapadakkudhu Maname’, has signed Rawther Films for his maiden heroic venture.

Confirming the news Krish tweeted, “My New film "Puriyadha Anandham Pudhidhaga Aarambam". Shoot starts from 1st week of Jan. Producer Mr. Ibrahim Rawther of "Rawther Films". Still On the hunt of heroine. Will update u guys in couple of days. Awesome team for my film PAPA.”

Krish, who has sung 30+ songs in his career starting from 2006, is presently enjoying the fatherhood, as his wife actress Sangeetha has given birth to a baby girl recently. Post the success of his ‘Padapadakkudhu Maname’ song from Moondru Per Moondru kaadhal in the composition of Yuvan Shankar Raja, Krish will start acting for his ‘Puriyadha Anandham Pudhidhaga Aarambam’ from the first week of January 2013.
