Trisha who is looking forward to the release of her upcoming film Samar with Vishal is said to have signed a new film interestingly titled ‘Ramba Urvashi Menaka’.

The film directed by MS Raju, will also feature Poorna in one of the roles and the crew is looking out for another heroine as well.

RUM in short for Ramba Urvashi Menka will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. We hear that Trisha will be shooting for the film in January.

We hear that the film is not a period one but an action film! So we wonder if it is the desi version of Charlie’s Angels.

But if one may recall, this Charlie’s Angels’s version was already done by Ramba as producer which also featured Laila and Jyothika.

About signing in on the film, Trisha said, “RUM is a story about three girls. It is a very interesting script. It is a heroine-centric flick but not a period film. I am playing a regular girl and the story revolves around the events that happen in her life. I’m not allowed to say too much about the role because they are still working on the script.”

However, the actress reveals that RUM will be an action flick. “It has got a lot of action scenes and Vijayan master will be supervising the whole shoot. I am not rehearsing any stunt scenes now. I’ll have a final meeting with M S Raju in January and decide everything about my role.”

Though Trisha hasn’t signed on any new Tamil film, she is currently working on Endrendrum Punnagai with Jeeva and Boologam with Jayam Ravi.
With this film she will be entering Kannada film industry as well.
