Ilayathalapathy Vijay is now shooting in Mumbai for his Vijay directed untitled film for Chandraprakash Jain's Sri Mishri Productions.

The film has Amala Paul in the female lead with music by GV Prakash. After Thuppakki, Mumbai has become Vijay's favourite location. Vijay has been staying at a popular five star suite for the last few weeks. It is almost like a home for him.

However he has a new problem while shooting in the streets of Mumbai. Last week while shooting an action scene near Khar Railway station , the actor got mobbed by his fans.

The team fixed Mumbai as shooting spot because handling crowd for a Vijay film in Tamilnadu is a tedious process. But on the contrary AL Vijay witnessed a huge crowd in the shooting spot and he is finding it very difficult to control the crowd. It is said that Vijay's recent release Thuppakki was a big hit in Mumbai and Mumbai was easily recognizing the Thuppakki actor. Being a fast worker AL Vijay is finding it difficult to shoot at his usual pace.

Nirav Shah the cameraman of his new film is having a tough time as he has to can the shots fast, before the crowd onlookers multiply.

Today Vijay is as popular as a Bollywood star in Mumbai, where his Thuppakki has been declared a hit.
