Dinesh and Nandita, the lead pair of last year's surprise hit Attakathi will once again join hands for Fox Star's next flick titled Kukkoo.

The two actors recevived good reviews for their acting in Attakathi directed by Ranjith and will now be directed by debutant director Raju Murugan for Kukkoo.

Actor Sivakarthikeyan was initially approached to play the lead role, where in the male lead plays a blind man, but couldn't accept the role due to unknown reasons. Also Kukkoo was to be produced jointly by Fox Star and Shankar's 'S' Pictures but due to some reasons, Shankar opted out of it and Fox has now decided to go it alone in making the film.

Fox Star's first production venture 'Engaeyum Eppothum' was a success and it's second 'Vathikuchi' which released recently seems to be doing well. At this stage one could expect a good film in Kukkoo with the the hit pair of Dinesh and Nandita which is set to go on floors soon.
