Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan, directed by Soundarya R Ashwin, is one of the most expected films of this year and the buzz is that the movie might be released in July.

The latest news about the movie is that the USA and Telugu rights of the film have been sold for a record price. While the USA rights have been sold to ATMUS Entertainment, the Telugu rights have been sold to Lakshmy Ganpathy Films. The film is titled as ‘Vikrama Simha' in Telugu.

The story has been written by KS Ravikumar and Soundarya is currently in Hong Kong doing post-production work of the film which is being produced jointly by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment. Kochadaiyaan features an ensemble cast of Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nasser along with Rajinikanth.
