Rajini’s fans have been waiting patiently enough to watch their idol back in action after more than two years. The fact that Rajini won’t be seen in the ‘actual’ flesh ‘n blood mode as the film is a 3D animation venture doesn’t appear to have dampened his fans’ interest. They are gearing up to ‘greet’ the film like they always do when a Rajini films hits the screen and the theatres are all set to wear the ‘carnival look’ as and when Kochadaiyaan is released.
Some say that the post production work of the film is drawing to a close and that the film’s audio would be launched some time this month to be followed by the film’s release in theaters probably on Tamil New Year day. Rajini not only gets to romance Deepika in the period film but also has a ‘very thrilling’ fight sequence with the latter, informs Ravikumar who supervised Soundarya’s direction in the film.
The said sequence was shot in London, it is revealed. “This could turn out to be one of the film’s highlights and would be a real treat to Rajini’s fans. All the fight sequences in the film have been shot outdoors. Rajini has worked hard to ensure that (as always) he appears ultra fit in the film,” concludes Ravikumar.
