Noted cinematographer Santosh Sivan is debuting in Tamil as a hero in Apsaras the dubbed version of Malayalam film Makaramanju!

Anbu Imagings is marketing the movie which has Ko Karthika as heroine along with Poorna and Malika Kapoor. Makaramanju dubbed into Tamil as Apsaras is a 2011 Malayalam romantic film written and directed by Lenin Rajendran. The film is about celebrated painter Raja Ravi Varma`s life and times.

Santosh played the world renowned painter Raja Ravi Varma in the film. Santosh Sivan the internationally reputed cinematographer turned director and actor was the cameraman of the blockbuster Vijay hit Thupakki and was also seen in a song in the film.

Currently Santosh has just completed his Ceylon, which he will be premiering shortly at an international film festival.
