Vijay has conducted the marriage for 11 poor couples free of cost in Villupuram district.

Actor Vijay is well known for his philanthropic activities. He has always been helping the poor and needy people under ‘Vijay Makkal Iyakkam’.

Amidst his busy schedules of ramping up prospective hit films and signing future projects, Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay has taken time off to engage in his philanthropic work.

The latest news is that he has conducted the marriage for 11 poor couples free of cost in Villupuram district today.

He has reportedly borne the cost of entire marriage ceremony and he has also issued 51 kinds of ‘seervaisai’ to the couples. His father S. A. Chandrasekar was also present during the ceremony to bless the couples.

He is currently working in A. L. Vijay’s ‘Thalaivaa’ and he will move on to ‘Jilla’ soon, which would be directed by Nesan.
