Thalai Murai is an upcoming film that is being helmed by the ace director/cinematographer Balu Mahendra.
He has already canned a major chunk of the script and he has invited director Sasi Kumar to do an important cameo in the film.

Sasi Kumar is also the producer of this film. He had supposedly hesitated to do the part but the ace director has managed to convince him. Reports claim that he might end up doing the role for Balu Mahendra.
The film also has the director's regular, maestro Ilayaraja doing the music.
