Kumki marks the debut of Vikram Prabhu, son of Prabhu and grandson of Sivaji Ganesan.with a couple of films already needing his attention, the young star has inked the deal for a new project.

Interestingly, this film will be directed by newbie Anand, an associate of AR Murugadoss. Pretty heroine Priya Anand has been roped in to play Vikram Prabhu's lead girl in this untitled flick, states sources in the film industry. The star is currently busy with Ivan Veramathiri and Sigaram Thodu,it may be mentioned here.
