Dolby Atmos and SPI cinemas (Sathyam group) held a joint press meet in Chennai. At the press meet it was announced that SPI's 37 screens will install Dolby Atmos.

Dolby Atmos also announced that they have tied up with two Tamil films Thalaivaa and Pizza 2 – The Villa. Remember Sivaji 3D was the first Indian film to release with the Atmos technology. Almost all Hollywood biggies- The Iron Man, Man Of Steel, Wolverine are in Dolby Atmos
