According to recent source, we hear that Jai was actually signed up to play the lead role in an upcoming movie that will be produced by actor Vishal under banner Vishal Film Factory.
Director Thiru has been signed up by the production house to direct the new venture starring Jai.

However it is now rumored that Jai has vexed Vishal by botching the dates offered for the yet-to-be-titled film. Finally this made Vishal to replace Jai and the actor decided to play the lead role as well.

Later we came to know the actual reason behind replacing Jai from this movie. Vishal decided to play the lead role in this film but it is because he had liked the script very much and felt that he would be more suitable for the role instead of Jai.
