Over the years, Tamil film industry has been marking some special things in the history of showbiz. It was Kamal Haasan, who was the first to introduce Dolby Digital in Indian Cinema followed by AURO 3D in Vishwaroopam.

Apparently, Dolby Atmos - the new technology was used by many films in the industry including 'Pizza II - Villa'. Now, Karthi's Biriyani becomes the latest one to come up with such a design. Yes, the film will be released with the special effect of Dolby Atmos in both Tamil and Telugu.

The film is directed by Venkat Prabhu and is produced by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Films. The film stars Hansika Motwani in female lead and is touted to be a comedy thriller. The film has musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Sakthi Saravanan will be an additional attraction. The film is scheduled for release on December 20 along with Jiiva-Trisha starrer 'Endrendrum Punnagai'.
