Karthi-Hansika's Biriyani is reportedly affected by Jeeva-Trisha's Endrendrum Punnagai and Aamir Khan-Katrina Kaif's Dhoom 3 say Box Office reports.

Inspite of receiving good word of mouth and positive reviews from critics, Karthi's Venkat Prabhu diet-Biriyani released on 20th December could reap only Rs. 2.9 crore net (after 30 percent tax) in first two days of release in Tamil Nadu.

Comparatively, same day released Jeeva's Endrendrum Punnagai is making good business with Rs. 17.8 crores in first five days. Where as Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3 is said to be shattering the earlier highest records made by Shahrukh Khan's Chennai Express and Krrish 3 featuring Hrithik Roshan and priyanka Chopra.
