Rajinikanth in NDTV 25
The superstar was honoured by NDTV at their silver jubilee year, as one among the 25 Greatest Global Living Legends.

After a long time Rajinikanth made a public appearance on Saturday (Dec 14), two days after his 63rd birthday. Super Star Rajinikanth’s name has been listed among NDTV’s 25 Greatest Global Living Indian Legends recently. After receiving the honour, his speech is heart touching.

Rajinikanth`s `Miracles do happen` speech at the event went viral on the net. Rajinikanth said: “Many people don`t believe in miracles but miracles do happen. An ordinary bus conductor sharing the dais with the greatest living legends is a miracle. Miracles do happen. I dedicate this award to my brother Sathyanarayana Rao Gaikwad who is like my father and mother, my guru Balachander and also people of Tamilnadu, Without their love and affection I wouldn’t be here”

Later cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar saluted the film star by saying he was ‘floored by Rajini sir’s humility’. Sachin said: “It was very kind of him as he came to meet me. I was absolutely floored by his humility and glad that I met him. He is someone I really admire.”
