Kollywood grapevine have it that makers of Arya's Meegaman are planning to rope in Taapsee to play Arya's love interest in the film, for which Sruthi Haasan was considered earlier.

It is said that Meegaman makers are considering Taapsee opposite Arya, after seeing their successful combo in Ajiht's Arrambam especially in 'En fuse Pochu...' song that heated up audiences. Though Sruthi Haasan was considered for the role, she is quite busy with her Telugu and Hindi projects.

Hithesh Jabak's Nemichand Jabak Productions banner will be funding Meegaman that will have cinematographer Satish of Peranmai fame and art director Mohana Mahendran among the crew. Magizh Thirumeni of Thadayyara Thakka fame will be directing Meegaman, an edge of the seat action thriller.

Arya's Meegaman will go on floors from January 5th and the shoots will take place in Spain, Italy, London, Goa and Mumbai ...
