Arulnidhi, Poorna, Pawan, Tarun Shatriya and Murugadoss starred Thagararu directed by Ganesh Vinayak is an Tamil movie based on four thieves, which is all set to hit screens this Friday [Dec 6].

Speaking about the film director said, "Thagaraaru is an action thriller in Madurai backdrop that revolves around four thieves Saravanan, Senthil, Arumugam and Palani. All four are Lord Murugan names (Smiled Ganesh)."

"Arulnithi plays Saravanan and Poorna will act as a college girl, who is daughter of local financier Jayaprakash. Both have meaty roles in Thagaraaru. Poorna is friendly and professional, coming to Arul sir he is like a child, extremely friendly and punctual," said Ganesh Vinayak.

On querying about producer and title, Ganesh said, "After suggesting Sambhavam, Ganganam, Pagal Vettai, Pagal Kollai, Adi odhai kuth as titles and they din't work out. One day Durai sir told "Title pudikarudhey orey thagaraara irukku", immediately we registered Thagaraaru as title. It was Sushanth, CEO of Cloud Nine who introduced me to Dyanidhi Alagiri and Mahat helped me alot for this project Thagararu."

We hear there was musician change for Thagararu, "Yes, earlier we had talks with Raghunanthan on immediate basis, but he asked me to go ahead with someone else as he was busy with other films. Its how Dharan came in, who worked for Simbu's Poda Podi and Praveen Sathya scored Thagaraaru bgm as Dharan was busy too."

Ganesh Vinayak, who has assisted STR says, "I'm looking forward to direct him. Infact I planned to take up Simbu starrer first but the latter was busy with Akon for 'love Anthem' at that time. You will definitely hear reports about student directing his Guru in the near future," he concluded.
