Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Rummy’
Vijay Sethupathi's next release is Rummy directed by debutant Balakrishnan. The film has been censored with a clean U certificate and is now ready for release on December 27.

The film has Vijay Sethupathy, Gayathri and Inigo Prabhakaran playing pivotal roles and is said to be a romantic comedy in a village backdrop. The film is directed by debutant director Balakrishnan and has music by D Imman.

The film takes place between the years 1987 and 1990, a time when private colleges weren't a craze as they are today. The heroes, who hail from different villages, meet in a government college and become thick friends. The movie is about their friendship and romances and will have humour and action as well.

The trailer of Rummy had got mixed response, while the Soodhu Kavvum actor insists that the film will be as different as his previous ones.
