It is well known that Ilayathalapathy Vijay is a Christian by birth. He is now caught in the eye of the storm for worshipping at the Thirunalaaru Saneeswaran Temple.

While people from his own community question his religious preferences at this point of time, some from the Hindu community are angry over reports that the temple authorities conducted special pooja for him one hour before the anointed time.

This has created a huge controversy but Vijay has decided to remain tight-lipped not wanting to answer to any of these allegations.
