Young music director Anirudh has posed for the first look of the film Aakko, which has music by him. Anirudh has been getting a lot of acting offers but has refused to play hero.

However for Aakko which means Arva kolaaru [over enthusiast], for the first time he is posing in the first look of the film. The producers of the film Deepan Boopathy and Rathesh Velu of Rebel studios say : "Aakko is a script Anirudh liked as one of the best he had heard and he offered all he can and could as a music director. The popularity he enjoys among the youth of today compelled the first look."

The film directed by Shyam Kumar has newcomers in the lead. Says Shyam Kumar : "The story is webbed around three over enthusiastic young men and their strange encounters in a single night. It is a fun packed entertainer for an audience who would like to laugh their hearts out. It is not aimed at any particular age or class, but for every body and anybody. The music of Anirudh is enthralling and it will be the chart buster of the year 2014 "
