Director Kalaa Prabhu’s film with Gautham Karthik, titled Indrajith, is all set to go on floors from tomorrow.

While the trio — Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan and Loy — has been roped in to compose the music, Mumbai-based newcomer Sonarika will be seen playing the female lead in this action adventure.

The Sakkarakatti director tells us, “We will be recording the songs once the first schedule of the film is over. We will start shooting in Chennai and move to Goa. After these locations, we will begin shooting in the northeast of the country.”

The film is titled after the character Gautham plays in the film. “In the Ramayana, Ravana’s son Indrajith was on the wrong side of virtue. But, this Indrajith is on the right side. Like the mythological character, he has the ability to be at any place he chooses at any time,” he adds.
