If not Ilayaraja, son Yuvanshankar Raja joining hands with Kavingar Vairamuthu

Vairamuthu and Yuvan Shankar Raja
Isai Gnani Ilaya Raja and Kavingar Vairamuthu was the legendary music director and lyricist Combo in Kollywood during the 80s. They have given so many memorable hits like Nizhalgal, Mudhal Mariyadhai, Sindhu Bhairavi etc.

Due to reasons unknown, both decided to part ways and haven't worked together in a long time. There have been many unsuccessful attempts by various people including Bharathiraja, to bring them together but failed.

Now, here comes the good news that Isai Gnani's son and the popular music director Yuvan Shankar Raja is going to join hands with Kavingar Vairamuthu. Yuvan is going to compose music for director Seenu Ramasamy's Idam Porul Eval which will be produced by director Lingusamy's Tirrupathi Brothers banner.

Lyricist Vairamuthu has collaborated with Seenu Ramasamy in earlier movies like Thenmerku Paruvakaatru and has won a National Award. So Director Seenu Ramasamy preferred Vairamuthu and Yuvan apparently spoke to his father and got his approval. Good to know that the younger generation is looking beyond old issues.

Now the Million Dollar question is Will Isai Gnani and Kavi Perarasu unite and recreate their magic anytime soon? Let's hope for the Best!
