Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Thala Ajith were one of the first from within the industry to have wished and encouraged VJ turned actor Sivakarthikeyean while he was working in the small screen.

The young actor who has delivered a hat-trick of hits in 2013, all three films crossing 100 days at the box office opened up on a television show on Vijay TV recently.

Speaking in the show Sivakarthikeyean said "I met Vijay sir in a Vijay TV show only, in which I had done a mimicry of him in the show that was for his birthday titled 'Rasigan Express'. I was waiting to take a photo with him. He put his hands on my shoulders and said you are doing well. Superstar's voice you are doing great."

On his interaction with Ajith, Sivakarthikeyean said "During the same time, I had a chance to work with Ajith in his film 'Aegan'. But unfortunatley, the role was scrapped. I was supposed to do a role of a spy helping Ajith sir in the film. While I was waiting for him during the shoot on the first day, he came in his vesti clad costume and greeted me with 'Hi Siva'. The feeling that he knew me itself was a great feeling. He further said that he has seen my shows and that am doing good work."
