Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Jilla released grand with huge openings in Tamil Nadu and 207 screens in Kerala along with USA.

Jilla title cards opened with Mohanlal and Vijay follows. As said earlier, thalapathy Pongal starts with opening song 'Pattu Onnu' sung by Balasubramaniam and Shankar Mahadevan. Vijay looks very young. Whistles for fights all around, in a fight sequence, Vijay is literally in air.
Kajal Agarwal and Mahat Raghavendra are charming on-screen. Jilla is over and out entertaining with his influential background scores and high production values.
