It was always being rumoured that Priyanka Chopra could pair Vijay for the next movie including his next with AR Murugadoss, but chance went to Samantha.

Priyanka Chopra one of the biggest stars of Bollywood today, actually began her acting career in Kollywood in Vijay's Thamizhan back in the year 2002. The latest buzz on the Bollywood beauty is that she is all set re-unite with Ilayathalapathy for his next project with PT Selvakumar following the A.R.Murugadoss project.

Kollyinsider reader will be aware that Ilayathalapathy Vijay recently made his next project official, Which was co-produced by Vijay's long time Manager P.T.Selvakumar and Thameens.

This untitled flick is expected to go on floors by June and slated for release in 2014 year end, after the actor completes AR Murugadoss' project. The new film will be jointly produced by Selvakumar and Shibu of Thameen Movies.

"Yes, Thameen movies and I will be jointly producing Vijay's next movie. We are also planning to begin the project after AR Murugadoss's film," Selvakumar told us.

Vijay is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film "Jilla", which is set to hit the screens on 10 January. The film, deemed as an action-packed entertainer, is directed by RT Neason.
