The first look of ‘Purampokku’ has been revealed today. The film starring Arya, Vijay Sethupathy, Shaam, Karthika Nair in the lead roles is directed by S.P.Jhananathan of ‘E’ and ‘Peranmai’ fame.
The film deals with illegal acquisition of ‘Purampokku’ lands by people with power.

Purampokku will start rolling from today in Kulumanali and the shoot will be followed then in some exotic places of Jaipur, Himachal Pradesh and Chennai. Music by Varhsan.

Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, Purampokku also has Shaam in the cast. The film is set to be shot extensively around Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chennai. Arya plays a social activist while Vijay Sethupathi is a kalasi in the railways. The promotional stills of Purampokku which were released recently have created a big buzz around the film.
